Does anyone know a way to repair/replace the weather stripping around car windows that has faded/deteriorated over time? All the "experts" I've asked all say it would be "cost prohibitive" to replace. Painting it didn't seem to be a wise option. The best I've found (which isn't bad, but far from great) is applying black electric tape in strips that are the closest width I can find, then touching it up occasionally with some black magic.
