They're on the 288, F40, and F50 too. All racer cars have them too because you can change them a lot faster in the pits. |

Mark, "knock-off" wheels do not have lug nuts but are held to the axle on a spline by one large winged nut that you install and remove by "knocking" with a lead hammer. The newer TR knock-off wheels are not really knock-offs as they have a large hex nut holding them on rather than a winged nut. Old Ferraris with winged knock-off wheels came with a lead hammer in the tool kit. |

I always wanted to know? What does knock-off mean? I see this a lot, in ads when I look at Ferraris for sale. I keep thinking it means knock-off like "fake" reminds me when people were copying Ping Golf clubs back in the 80's. |

Check SAC Wheels. They have a rim RS30 that is for 85-88 Spline Drive Testarossa. They always have an ad in Forza. 1-954-846-9234 http://www.sacwheels.com |

Can anyone refer me to a wheel supplier that manufactures or sells 18" wheels to replace the factory knock-offs on an older TR? Much appreciated! |
