If you do not let othrs drive your car then go with one without numbers and save save save.
Hopefully you do not drive so drunk that you have to look at your shiftknob to find First Gear!!!

You can go to your Ferrari dealer. They have the one with the numbers on them. $400 later you feel robbed, violated and best of all the clearcoat falls apart from all the anger sweat in your hands, anger that you paid $400 for your aluminum shifter knob.

but it looks awesome!

Jeff, the aluminum one I have does not have the #'s on it but it is pretty much the same size as stock and I sell them for $40. I don't recommend any metal type shift knobs cause they get pretty darn hot in the summer especially with the top off. Momo makes shift knobs which I also carry fit tight but don't thread on like factory and I don't like them cause they sit higher than stock, but they grip good though.

Don - Thanks for the link to that website (Italiancarparts.com). I never knew about it. That is exaclty what I am looking for.

Steve - I am located in Southern CA. Thanks for your concern though :-). Those titanium shift knobs look pretty cool, however, I think I am going to stick with what I have seen.

Mod - Is your shift know the same as the ones they are selling on the website Don referred me to? If so, how much do you want for yours?

Thanks everyone!

David, whatever you do just don't lick it in the winter.

Jeffrey C. -- Are you aware of the trade-offs between a non-thermally conductive shift knob (e.g., plastic, leather, etc.) and a thermally conductive one (i.e., metal)? Where are you geographically?
Another common metal option is from Titanium Cavallino:

I have a polished aluminum ball available that will screw on or even better, a carbon fiber ball shift knob.
