I was looking through a supercar book that I have and I am going to scrap this design. Thank you all for commenting on it though. I have looked over the Pagani Zonda and Bugatti Veyron and that is what a supercar interior should look like. This interior would do fine in a Viper or Corvette but for a high end supercar it's all about carbon fiber and brushed aluminum around all that leather. I will post a different design as soon as it is ready. Thanks again. |

Initially I was going with a 585HP C5R Corvette race motor, for it's compact size and high hp but now I am thinking that maybe a Viper V-10 with twin turbos might work well too. What I am going to do is have it all set up for racing too. No sence in buying a car that you have to modify to race, this car will have a correct rollcage hidden behind the interior panels. This is just one idea I have for the interior I am also going to look at the Pagani Zonda for some inspiration, I think that car has the best looking interior. Thanks for all your comments, keep them coming. |

Jason, I think Bret has pretty much covered the all the basis here but it seemed to me that the guages over the console were too far away for quick and easy observation thus the console being too wide and high. The steering wheel needs to be emphasised as Bret indicated. |

It's not a Ferrari, it's Jason's own design. Slotted could be a possibility, but that's kind of an Italian thing (lambo and ferrari). I don't know what kind would be good. A Vette trans would be too trucklike for a light car but could easily handle nuts HP (800 according to GM which is probably an understatement), that would fit the look you have now. I think maybe a shifter with a leather bottom but then an exposed stick up to the ball might be nice. 3 spoke steering wheels are the best. Drilled pedals are another must. I think to really create a market you would have to go wild with a new car. So a V8 Twin Turbo with gobs of HP and torque along with a very racey interior would do well (just not to race track). |

is that a ferrari? If it is, where is the gated shifter? |

I would make the console narrower, I kind of like being close to the person next to me and not having the big bulk in the middle. The seats look pretty nice. I would hide the door handles away a little, most exotic cars always have stealthy doorhandles. I like black backed instrument panels, not a big fan of white ones. A back lit one like the F50 would be nice. A digital gauge system could be cool, like F1 style or something. Just an idea, it could be tacky though too. |

What do you suggest Magoo? Like I said this is my first time doing an interior and I will be changing some of the coloring trying to make it flow better. I just would like to know about the layout and design of the interior. Thanks for the suggestions though. |

Neat....get rid of the leather boot around the shifter. Just my opinion. |

Jason, Just my opinion but I think you have to spend a little more time on the presentation of the interior. I thought your design of the concept car was very good. |
