Guys Sorry I can't be there, I was in Palm Beach last spring for a wedding and it would be cool to drive the f-car around there especially along the coast. My cousin's in laws own the old Kennedy house down there and there are many nice houses on the road going north from the Breakers, also some good turns | ||

Solly, I agree but Palm Beach is way, way short on specialty parking. In fact, there is only one hotel on the island that offers covered parking. See ya there!! Michael | ||

Too bad about the parking. A Ferrari convoy would have been fun. My car is entered in the concours Saturday, but I think dinner with you guys will be more fun than the awards ceremony. Any of you doing the "rally" on Thursday, or track time Thurs/Fri? | ||

Ok guys, this is the plan. I was just down in Palm Beach scouted and decided about the party. Had to take a couple of decisions so if there are any objections, please speak up now. William's B-day party and the Ferrari chat get- together is scheduled for 8:30 PM at Taboo (right on Worth Avenue in the heart of Palm Beach). I choose this place because its a great mix of casual/dressy atmosphere yet good food. They even have dance floor where the girls shake their little rumps after 10:30 or so. We can also get a little louder there (read as -- go ahead and drink). I reserved for 10 -- if more are the way let me know. It is reserved under the name Ferrari Chat. I am the contact number so I will handle anything that comes up. I am not responsible, however, for scantly clad women who come up to the table. The parking is a problem. I tried but all valet parking is now subcontracted out to another company and reserving a spot where the cars are not valeted is all but impossible. I have arranged, however, for limos to drop us off and pick us from The Breakers Hotel. There will be secure parking there for our F-rides. Plan to meet at The Breakers Front lobby between 8:10 - 8:20 PM. For those having to leave early (losers/wimps/etc.), we can arrange to have you transported back to the hotel early. Sounds awesome!! Final info to follow shortly, going to start talking to peole next week. So far we have a total of 10: William (guest of honor) William's guest Martin (bringing most expensive gift -- the F40) Martin's wife (definitely the cutest so far) Michael Dale Solly Solly's guest Edvar Edvar's Brother Have not talked to Johnny B and Ingrid yet but I think his car might be in the Concours so he is probably going to the Cavallino Awards dinner. Saturday night party, Jan. 26, at 8 pm. Bring the Ferrari. The list so far. The reason, William's Birthday and a get together for ferrarichat members. If you cannot make it tell me now. I am going to arrange in a couple weeks. I know these people so if I call the restaurants and say 7, 8, or 9 I want to get close to the number. Will let you know which restaurant in a couple weeks - will go with the one that can provide special parking.
