The 355 is high reving and a relatively small engine, not nearly as much torque or HP as the 512. Besides the 512 looks so much better and performs better. Nothing can beat the TR line up.

I bought a 93 512TR, I blow the doors off 355s, even 355 Challenge cars on the straights all the time at the track.
go for the 12 & wave bye bye to the 355s in your mirror :)

BTW, if u know what the stock market is doing lately u will know that 355 prices should start dropping as people can no longer afford to keep them

The355s are already dropping because of the 360 just coming out and the fact that the oldest ones are six years old already (wow, I'm starting to feel old, I remember when they first came out). I wouldn't expect the bottom to fall out because it's a Ferrari, but they will most likely continue to steadily decrease for the next few years (there were a ton of them by Ferrari standards produced). It's such a sweet car though. The 93 512TR is probably a more fun car to own, but it comes with increased bills (although 95 was the first year for the 355 so it may have some bugs). I would probably go with the 512TR, but like all the other choices that come up on FerrariChat, it is really your decision on which you like and would enjoy more. The 355 is a little more modern feeling and looking, but the 512 hauls and has that great Ferrari 12 cylinder going.

I would imagine the prices will drop the day after you sign the papers for your new 355! This is based on careful observation of purchases of computers, stocks, and home appliances.

I would suggest buying the car that absolutly jazzes you, the one you won't mind seeing in your garage 5 years from now. The price at that time will be either higher or lower than what you paid for it, but you won't care.

was curiouse to know when the f355 coupe prices would drop a bit. For the same price as a 95 f355 I can get a 93 512 TR with low LOW mileage. I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. any ideas?
