It's a utility that's part of windows. Here's an article that describes what it does and a link to the symantec page detailing the virus. sulfnbk.exe article |

Thanks Tyler. Excatly, this is what I was told that it was infected. I had a lot of problems with kicking off line and having to refresh a lot of sites. When I eliminated it my problems went away. I had 2 other friends who experienced the same thing. I don't need it there and if there is a chance it is infected then out she goes. |

Magoo sulfnbk.exe is a Microsoft Windows 95/98/me utility and can be infected, but it's presence in a system is not suspect. Refer to www.symantec.com and search for sulfnbk.exe for more information. |

SEARCH or Find your files and folders and type in sulfnbk.exe for the virus. I didn't think I had it until I checked and there it was. Got by my anti-virus. Make sure you search your "C" drives. Try more than one search if it doesn't come up right away. If you find it send to recycle bin and get rid of it. "DON'T OPEN IT." It is a gross looking black icon. If you have it and e-mail others they could have it also. You might want to let them know. |
