Stu, can you post pics of your new exhaust? I'd love to see the back of your 308 with the Tubi! |

I just bought a Tubi system for my 85 QV which has a Euro exhaust (no cats). I'd be interested in selling the stock exhaust. Anyone interested? |

Frank, mine is a Euro and has the quad exhaust. From the Original Ferrari V8 book, it states that the later Euro 308s (QVs) did have the quad exhausts. |

Ken, The Euro muffler is completely different. I had to take mine off my 84 Euro 308 and replaced it with a new muffler/catalytic converter. It would not be a direct bolt on to a US car. The intake portion of the muffler is different. Mine had the dual outlet, one on each side. If you like, I can take a picture of the muffler and email it to you. Let me know. |

The early euro mufflers for the 308 and 328 only had one dual pipe out the rear. So if you put a euro pipe on a U.S. car you will have an unfilled slot on one side of the rear valence. Only the U.S. versions came with the quad pipes. |

Ken, if you go to Ebay and search on "Ferrari 308", there is a guy who has 3 different types of 308 mufflers, depending upon carb, US, and Euro. The pipes out the back of the muffler (and cats) seem to be the only differences...I may be wrong though. |

Is there any advantage in buying a European muffler for my 1985 US 308 QV? The only real advantage I see is the lack of a cat., but is there any other difference? If not, then it makes sense to just remove the cat. since it would be a lot cheaper with the same result. Speaking of price, what is fair market value for a European muffler? Ken |
