Guys, one thing to note about the Revell 308 is that the body is not in correct proportions. the window area is too short, and makes the model look like it got a 1 inch chop job. Testors and a couple Japanese companies made 1/24 and 1/25th models that were much more accurate. Even the body of the old Monogram 308 GTB which was a curbside model (i.e. no engine) was more accurate, although it featured the larger tailights.

I have two Bburago 1/24 308 GTB's, one a red/tan, the other a rally version (with four fog-lights on the hood and head-lights up, plus all of the sponsors logos).

Sorry, neither one is for sale.

I have been wanting to purchase a 308 model off of ebay and haven't got around to it yet. I like the Magnum P.I. model. I saw a 308 model that was unbuilt but was all metal. I thought it was interesting but it was expensive for a model.

Bob, the Revell 1/24 kit of the Magnum car is actaully a GTB with the roof painted black. That kit is worth about $25.00 due to the box with Magnum on it. Revell put the same kit out(non Magnum) which is available a lot cheaper. I have not found a plastic kit of a GTS. The only one I have is the Western Models 1/43 metal kit of a GTS.
Eric, there is only a couple of GTS Diecast models. An early GTS made by Polistil in 1/24 scale. BBR make a superb GTS in 1/43. Corgi had a few GTS models as well in 1/32. Otherwise there are a few Hotwheels and similar GTS cars.
I only have one true GTS QV model. A small 1/64 scale made in China. I have a spare one of those if anyone is interested and the Polistil one as well.
Asd far as I know there is no 1/18 scale 308 GTB or GTS out there. Anyone know more ?

I have a model of a 1986 328 GTS, still new in the box. I thought about selling it on EBAY.

Hello Bob,

Saw a couple of those Magnum P.I. kits on E-bay the other day -- been thinking about buying one for old times sake -- especially since I can't find any diecast ones for the 308 .

Just got back from a friends, tore down the 327 out of his 66 Nova. As a thank you for for this and putting the engine back together, he is building a model of my 308. This guy has collected plastic models for many years, has about 700 unbuilt ones on his shelf. Among them he found an untouched Revell 1/24 Magnum PI kit, this is the one he is using for the model of my car.
