'A Low Down Dirty Shame' with Keenan Ivory Wayans (1994) Comedy has a black 308 tearing it up out sideways coming out of a nightclub parking lot. Sounds nice.

I like ALF as well. They show it on the Hallmark Channel at 6:00-7:00 a.m. on Sat. It used to be on everyday from 6-7 but they put other shows in its place. I would like them to put it back to 6-7 every evening.

They haven't played ALF by me for years now, they had a marathon a couple months ago, but other than that never. That was such a funny show.

I saw last night the ALF episode with the 328 in it.

The funniest line in the episode is when the father of the family says:

"Its obvious you can't have a rational discussion in front of a Ferrari"

...How true...

Just saw the movie "Rockstar" (what can I say, I'm a composer....)

One of the scenes featured a Mondial Cab racing the Batmobile (TV version). The Batmobile won after igniting the 'bat-afterburners'.

Hmmm, the Batmobile might make a good addition to the collection....

In the movie Bulletproof there is a red 355 that they do a little chase in. In the trailer for Billy Madison (they have it on the DVD) there is a closeup of a yellow 308. Dina do you hear this.

It's a dark green with a bit of a brownish touch. If you look really close you can see it, especially when the car is in the light. It's kind of a weird color, I wouldn't really think that people would order an fcar in that color.

I heard Higgins say green but it looks like a Brown 308 to me. I think that there are some photos of one on this site. It is a very rare color but is beautiful.

Eric, Thanks for the offer. We don't often get old Magnum PI
re-runs "DownUnder".

Your right again, BretM...

Sure enough, it's green -- heard Higgins say so myself . Time to adjust my TV!

If you'd like a copy, e-mail an address, and I'll be glad to send one out (free of course, just give me time to record it though).

It's a green metallic, at first I thought it was blue too, but then Higgins called it green and I looked closer and sure enough. I was actually thinking about recording it, I should of.

A good way to tell the 308's apart from one another (besides the obvious hood vents on the 4V's)is to look around the windshield. The 1983's were painted black from the factory. It didn't matter what color the car was. In 84 and 85 look for the body color to extend around the windshield.
On Magnum they spliced old wide-distance scenes with the 2V cars in with the new up close shots of the 4V's. What's really funny is to watch him leave in an 83 and end up somewhere in an 84 model.

Caught some of that episode yesterday. Pretty fancy driving. I thought that Ferrari was painted Sera Blue.

Wow, that was a great episode! Don't recall ever seeing that one before. Really enjoyed the 308 action on the road (don't think I'll ever try those maneuvers with mine though). Was that F-car really green? It looked identical to mine -- with the dark grigio metallic (grey) paint against the tan interior -- or maybe all my televisions' color settings are way out of adjustment. Looked like an episode from around 1983 perhaps? Were those Quattrovalvole models or late model GTSi's? Couldn't get a close enough look at the rear badging -- but with all the grills & decklid spoiler it looked just like mine. The VCR's fired up to record today's episode.

I thought he had the suitcase on the passenger seat. It was a green 308, I said blue before. I watched it twice today. It was cool as hell to be able to see the differences between a mid engined car and a front engined car in a spin. You could see how much quicker the 308 would switch ends than the firebird (or whatever it was) would. Also cool to see a green and a red 308 parked next to each other.

Thanks, BretM, for the "heads-up" -- called home and had my wife record tonight's episode -- can't wait to get home and watch it (will certainly have to put the kids to bed early tonight).

I couldn't believe that kid took a 3'x3' suitcase out of the trunk of that 308 on the Magnum episode. Did you catch that? No way in hell would that thing have fit.

Watched "Gone in 60 Seconds" again the other night (latest with Nick Cage, not the original ... which I also saw 2 days later !)

Was it my imagination, or in the scene where Nick Cage goes to the garage where Angelina Jolie is working now (to persuade her to join the crew), is there the briefest flicker of the rear end of a 308/328 ??

Today the Magnum, p.i with the two 308s in it is on (Thomas' red one and Robin Master's nephew's blue one). It's definitely got the best chase scenes out of any 308 show or movie I've ever seen. The kid has the blue 308 spinning tires and sliding for like 5 minutes at one point. I'm watching it right now actually. It's on A&E at 11am and then again at 5pm today. Worth checking out.
