120" screen unrolls from the cieling, Italian Seleco projector with line doubler is mounted to ceiling about 10ft in front, around $15k but I can point u to an even better system in the US for only about $6k by Proton, size of the screen merely depends on how much room u have in your TV room |

(look of shock) 120" ??!?!? how on earth do you get that, how much it cost, and where do I pick mine up? =) I got a PS2 and the biggest I played on was an 80" screen with an LCD projector |

In my case Ive already got a 120" screen at home with line doubler so If I plug in a PS2 or Xbox it should really rock |

Go karts are the best training. Video games don't provide feed back, unless you spend over $1000.00 on the equipment. For that kind of $s, you can get a start on a 125 shifter. After driving the shifter, the cars feel slow. I'm going to Monterey this Sunday. The Target CART team is testing there, and a friend of mine is their lawyer. I'll ask their drivers which is best for them. |

Last summer I was with a friend and his daughter in one of those arcades that have go-karts track and we went for it. My friend almost have to drag me out of the place as I was gung-ho into beating this two 5 & 6 year old kids on the track. I am sorry to say that weight to power ratio had adverse consequences to my short track career. Nevertheless, definitely a lot more fun than any video game I've played. |

I don't know about video games as a training mechanism, my kids beat the hell out of me everytime on Gran Turismo 3 and they can't barely drive. Although, I must admit, I was surprised to see that the game came with a real car driving instruction booklet which includes real-world racing techniques. Maybe that's what JP Montoya reads during the off-season, ha! |

Go-KArt. Take a Magnum 45 with you to the track William but Go-Kart is the way. |

Lynn St. James made a "career" out of a pro simulater. Didn't seem to help her much though. |

Pretty sure Montoya uses video games to learn various circuits where he has little or no experience. For polishing driving skills/car control, etc. - would definitely pick karts. One possible downside of this is that it is fairly tough to replicate the visceral thrills, g-forces and wheel-to-wheel competition of a 125cc shifter kart in a street car at a club event. And so once proficient in the kart, your car may feel a bit soft and less exciting. |

Go Karts are a bit of a workout as well as polishing your skills. I know that you are interested in the workout aspects of training and this may provide that. |

I love go carts. I think go carts should be mandatory transportation for the inner cities (At least Philadelphia) in the summertime (no cars allowed). God that would be fun. |

Video games are fun, let you experience "real" tracks that would otherwise be unobtainable and worthy training at some level but nothing replaces the feel of a real vehicle...kart or otherwise. - JMG PS, this message does not apply to most drivers I see on the road...anything to get them thinking about driving would be appreciated by the rest of us. |

I hear that using video games can aid in training racers. I believe there was an article written on the subject a little while back. |

WHats better for polishing your driving skills off season ? Go karts or video games. I hear The Schumacher brothers & Lots of racers prefer Go Karts But their is a growing minority of racers who depend on video games led by JP Montoya Video games r a lot more accesible for me since I dont even have a car in Buenos Aires now & the nice Go kart track is in the middle of 1 of the worst ghettos |
