Not familiar with Brunos...couldn't find them in the phone book...perhaps they've folded up (?) There is a Brumos (mainly Porsche) dealership in Jacksonville. Heard rumors that they might possibly service Ferrari's, but never looked into it. Have talked to a couple of local Porsche & Benz owners about giving Brumos a try, but they all sort of "grimaced" at the mention of the dealership's name. Never asked them why, but just assumed that their experience weren't "that great" for whatever reason. Brumos is one of the top Porsche dealers in the area; and they are very involved in racing (including heavy sponsorship). If I owned a Porsche, they would certainly be at the top of the list for local service / parts. As for Omega -- all the locals told me that Steve was the "Ferrari Guy" to see for service; and, from having met with him, I'd have to concur. However, I haven't as of yet actually had my 308 serviced by him, so the verdict is still out -- but I'll keep you posted. |

Thanks David & Eric! He'll be about 2 1/2 hours away, but that is much better than driving to Orlando. Eric, I'll be in Tallahassee. Maybe once my F-car gets shipped, we'll have to meet someplace in-between, maybe LiveOak. Thanks for your help! |

I second that, Greg... Just paid Steve at Omega a "first" visit (get acquainted, look around, etc.) last week Friday -- he's a very knowledgeable & professional independent Ferrari mechanic (services Porsche, MB, etc. also). Like I mentioned in another thread, he had a 360 F1 Challenge car in one of his service bays -- so he must be very reputable. I plan on having him do the timing belts, etc. on my 308 real soon. My other choice for major service would certainly be Ferrari of Central Florida (Orlando). |

Well, I've been checking and searching for a local Ferrari service shop in the Tallahassee or Panama City area with no luck. Looks like I may need to expand my definition of "local". Does anyone know of a reputable Ferrari service shop in the Jacksonville, FL area? |
