I heard it was warm and sunny in Canada today - nice day to skip work and take the F-car out :)

I'm here.....just home today with a cold ...must be this frigid Cdn weather :(

Here's her bio: http://www.racerchicks.com/racers/chollfelder.html

I've spoken with her briefly - she's great...a true Ferrari fan. But don't look at her being disabled - she isn't! A super driver!

I was always wondering since they came out with joy-stick flight controls, when the first joy-stick car would be built.
left right and accellerate and break, push botton to switch gears.

Hi, Carol did race her 355 this year at Limerock though she did have some mechanical problems. All modifications I believe were approved by Ferrari which in itself is unusual. The car is very interesting how it is setup. Pulling back on the steering wheel accelerates the car for instance, and conversely, pushing the steering wheel brakes the car. Have to give her a lot of credit for her determination

Nika is still around. She mainly posts during the day, not 1 am in the morning!

hey, I met Carol and she's really cool. She was in a motorcycle accident as a teenager. There is part I of a story on her at one of our FerrariChat.com friends... http://www.velocepress.com/

I've tried to get Carol to visit the site, but I don't know if she ever has. She posts on the SCCA Pro Racing forum quite a bit.

I hope we have not lost Nika due to some insensitive comments posted in another thread.

Michael,

She is indeed the person you refer to, who competed the last two years in the Speedvision Series in the specially modified 355.

There were rumors last year she might try some other series, though I am not sure were she would go. She has already won at the amatuer level in SCCA.

Hey Nika do you have any news regarding Carol Hollfelder? Isn't she a paraplegic woman who races an F355 in the Speedvision World Challenge?

Please fill us in!!!
