Jake,

I have heard all excellent things about IFS and John. I spoke with him on numerous occasions because I am going to have him do my pre-purchase inspection(s) on the 308 I decide to buy. He is supposed to be one of the BEST in our area (I am from CT). He has over 30 years experience in both repairing and racing Ferraris.

Good Luck,
Anthony

Yes i asked him to do an extensive inspection including leakdown etc. I figure that a couple extra hours labor to really check it out will be well worth it if he finds a problem.

I am not certain but I think I spoke to him about a mondial he was selling last year. He was looking for high 20s on a mondial 8 from what I recall. Nice guy from what I remember but price was too high.

I would ask him to detail what he does in the four hours. I had FOA did one for me and they charged me 85/hr for two hours- they were fairly thorough but did not do compression etc.

Has anyone deals with Independent Ferrari Service in Easton Ma.? They Advertise in Forza Mag. I have spoken with the owner John, He seems like a nice guy and a Straight Shooter. Has anyone dealt with them before? I'm thinking of having a Pre purchase inspection done by them. John said that it would be $85/hr and about 4 hrs labor. Seems reasonable.
