Appropriate Tenax snaps are about $15 each...they screw into place. |

GREAT links, guys. thanks! World Upholstery is almost a grand cheaper than factory, although that's WITHOUT the fasteners - they say they're easy to transfer from the other boot cover. doody. |

That is right, the Toneau cover is for the whole interior. It is from the old english cars that did not have tops. MGs and Morgans. It is probably called the Top Cover or Top Boot. |

The other "manufacturer" (not reseller) besides GAHH that I've run across is World Upholstery & Trim: http://www.vcnet.com/worlduph/default.html |

Check with these folks...I got the interior on my 92 from them as they supply just about anyone else you can find online and thus are about half the price. - JMG http://www.gahh.com/Ferrari.html |

Ferrari makes a toneau cover for the 348 Spider that covers the car interior while the car is parked with the top down. It connects to the windshield header and drapes over the interior with stretch type cords fastening under the doors and rear fender well. A photo and part number for it is in the Ferrari Parts Manual. |

It's called a boot. A toneau cover is for pick-up trucks. They cover the bed. |

I thought the toneau cover was the cover that covered the car interior while you have the car parked some where with the top down ? |

It is called a Tourneau Cover (I am not sure if I spelled that right, it does not look right). You can possibly get that done in a shop that can use your cover as a base to cut the new one. I would not do it! The Tan breakes the lines of the black a little more which makes the car look interesting. Ferrari Dealers are surely also a great source. Get an idea how much they charge and then call Nick for a quote. |

i'm looking at a black/tan 355 Spider. i would like to replace the tan leather piece (with a black one) that covers the top when it's down and stored behind the seats. first off, what the heck do you call that thing. secondly, any idea on sourcing for it? over two grand from the dealer. seems to me that i could have one custom made by a top notch leather shop for less than that. thoughts? suggestions? tia. doody. |
