Rob, Did you give your MOM a discount?. Just kidding, I'll mail my order out this weekend. |

I'm realizing that. However, the only link is from this message and I don't think everyone is reading it. The site will be secure within a week and I'll put a permanent link and mention it in next weeks newsletter. My mom ordered one though! |

Rob, you are going to find that only a small fraction of the people who say " sign me up" during an idea session actually follow through when you call their bluff. |

Is everyone waiting until I actually get them shipped or for the secure site? From the other thread there were about a dozen people that indicated they wanted a shirt and so far I've only received 3 orders. They will be shipped by the end of February. Thanks, rob |

It's probably going to be another 2 weeks before the secure connection gets set up for www.ferrarichat.com. They made a mistake and put the security on my companies url and not where the actual online store is. If you want a shirt and don't trust the internet yet, you can mail me a check at... Rob Lay 5100 Verde Valley Ln. #288 Dallas, TX 75240 Please indicate size, style, and quantity. All are $28.95 each, except XXL's are an extra $2. S & H is $3.95 domestic or $6.95 international. If you're sending me a check, please send your order (except billing info), so that I can pre order correctly. Thanks, rob |

Can someone with IE 6 and that little security checker go to my LLC site http://www.curvacom.com and see if that site is secure. I think by mistake they put my encryption there because that's the company website. Thanks, rob |

Nika, I'll buy you one if you model it. ( Rob, do they come in extra small, cut off version - with no front? or maybe just send a collar with a cavalino rampante on it?) |

Um, that's not me. I know you knew that, but I just wanted to make sure. Don't worry, when we get the real ones in, I'll have someone not in my gene pool model them. |

Hopefully the security will be set up over the next few days. I still don't understand why people freak out over credit cards on the internet. No one is going to see card numbers unless they figure out how to intercept the message (which is virtually impossible to begin with) and then know the format of the data to get your number, name, and expiration date off it. The only thing encryption does is codes the data so that when they intercept it, they would have to break the encryption in order to get your info. Do you encrypt your voice when you give your credit card number over the phone? |

With IE there'll be a little lock icon in the status bar when running over a SSL connection. When you set it up, you may want to make sure your links, images, etc use the https protocol also or there'll be warnings about unsecure content on the page. |

Same here. I'd feel better about some not seeing my card info. If there is another way of securiing my order, please let me know. |

Your the tech guy on that stuff. It feels good to me when I see the little lock icon on my IE6 screen that tells me it's safe.... (or so I think) |

I have 124 bit encryption, but I haven't linked it yet. How did you know it wasn't encrypted? Credit card # encryption is a bunch of BS anyway. How many receipts and people know your credit card number in the real world anyway? What makes the standard so different online? First, the hacker has to figure out how to intercept your data and only then does he have the same info he could of got a dozen other places. However, it's almost required now for major credit card companies. I was wondering if that's the problem you had. My Visa went through with no problem. The 124 bit encryption should be on there by next week. Thanks, rob |

Thanks Martin, I got your order. It will take them 3-4 weeks to make, the pre ordering also helps me decide how many to get. I'm not sure about using the Prancing Horse. Anyone know the legalities of this. You notice hardly any advertisers use the prancing horse in magazine ads. |

Sorry, no pictures of the actual shirt yet. There will be a Black/Red FerrariChat.com logo in the top left similar to the logo on our front page. Nothing fancy, just a simple and small name. Would a majority rather have the logo on the shirt sleave? |
