Also check the websites of each state for construction zones. Sucks to drive along uneven pavement in the F-car. |

the only thing i can add to all this good advice is to make sure that the hotels you are staying at along the way have some form of secure parking; lets you sleep a lot better..... |

Mark, check out the AAA web site, they have something called Trip-tik which provides maps online (or at their location if you are a member) of your route. The important thing about these maps is that they contain the location to gas stations, restaurants/fast food, lodging, and others, along the route. Might be very useful in an emergency or to simply plan your stops. |

Hey Ron-- My guy here just got a 2002 360 Spider sitting on the lot. I thought of you right away. Bad a$$ looking machine!! I wish I had some time to deal with the 308, Bill is a little gun shy on the deal but man he would be very happy with this car!! |

Hey Mark What's up.. It's your old pal Ron. Use Mapquest and map out you route so you don't end up in the wrong place if you know what I mean.. Cel phone goes w/o saying.. You may want to try to get the phone numbers of qualified mechanics though out your route by the f-dealer. They may know who to go to. It may sound crazy, but better safe than sorry.. Enjoy the Ride and take pics to share with us..

Mark, Two suggestions besides the obvious---List of phone #s for F-Dealers along your route (and some independents) and 1-2 wood pads to raise car in case of flat (jack didnt fit under my 328 when rear tire blew). Where are you going? |

Any tips on taking long trips in the F car? Keeping down the amount of mashed bugs, extra tools, etc. Thanks. |
