It took me about 6 months looking off an on. In that time i looked at 3 diffrent Mondials otherwise known as the good, bad an the ugly. When i got serious about it i subscribed to FML an bingo there it was. Picked it up two day's later with my wife, which was the first day we both left our newborn with granma!

Was looking for a TR as our (myself and my bro) first Ferrari, but couldn't find one at a reasonable price. Extremely hard to find a TR for sale here in Hong Kong. Plenty of 456s and 355s though.

Saw a Mondial put up at a price we can't refuse, so decided to buy it for the hell of it a few days after it was put up for sale. Still waiting for a TR to show up.

It took me 6 months to find the right car. And another 2 weeks to have it shipped... that's what really hurt!

328,5 years, unfortunately the 1st one i looked at was the best price and the best condition and they kept getting worse. Finally found the best condition and documented car from a private seller and bought it. Private sellers are much better to buy from, they are looking to get out for a reasonable loss/gain and most of all they dont know how to do the patch work that most dealers do to get them beyond the 30 day warraty

Well, so far, i've searched for a good 308 for nearly 6 months and have nothing to show for it but . I have had 2 cars fail the pre-purchase inspections, had another owner change his mind about selling, and others which required too much additional repair cost for the prices of the cars. At this point, I'm zeroing in on finding a QV , for no more than a mid-thirties price tag. Maybe someday.

I looked for almost three years to find a nice 328GTB in red. As Dave328GTB states, they're quite rare. Every time I called on one it had already been sold, most before the ads even hit the papers (i.e., FML). Sure glad I waited and got a nice one though!

I spend over a year looking for an appropriate vehicle (there were 5 candidates), and waiting for my stock portfolio to be in a position to strike.

Less than a week(82 308GTSi)
It was a friend of mine that owned it.
He was going to trade it in, but if I wanted it he needed to know asap.
Too good of a deal and nice car to pass on.
I've wanted a Ferrari for the last 10yrs
Want a F355 spyder, but this one is a good start

Almost 3 years. Reason....waited for a car that had recently been serviced, right color, right miles, but still needed some things (cosmetics-interior) and thus was in the right price range. The search was fun and worth the wait.

About 10 months, plus 1 month having it transported, getting the major service done, etc., so 11 months search start to driveway.

A year and a half. Easy to say now, but well worth the wait for exactly what I wanted.

Got it at a low price but had to put a bunch of money into it. It still needs more work, but I'm glad I have it.

Once I made up my mind to get one. Month and a half every day on the net for at least 3 hours. Started looking in August, had it in my garage first week of October.

Once I knew what I wanted.
2 months from start to finish. (90 348ts Red)
The timing may have been right. I found a car in exactly the condition I wanted for a fair price.

From the start of your search to the time the car was parked in your garage...
