Low profile Ferrari?????

Isn't that an Oxymoron!

Kind of like saying a Honda Civic "ricer" is high profile. :-)

My grey 308 is almost stealth like in that very few people notice it while driving.

Disagree on the 308GT4...When one comes into my shop they get quite a bit of attention.....I think they just look more exotic now than they did 10 or 15 years ago...jmho.

Manu,
One of my Father's clients has a silver 550 in Banff, Alberta. He drives the car 2-3 times a week, including taking day trips into Calgary (1 15 mins away) often. He says people comment on how elegant it is, but also ask him what it is, but few actually know /what/ it is. It blends in well, compared to other over the top Ferraris IMHO.

400i

Most of the others are fairly unmistakeable particluarly in Rosso.

Diasagree regarding the 550 - a red 550 stands out like sore thumb - the 4 rear lights are a give-away + the bonnet intake has become a 550 signature - everyone knows what it is pretty much straight away.

I'd have to say a 75 308 GTB4/ The lines of that Bertone body "can" look like a regular car to the untrained eye, but the sound of that V8 carburated engine speaks a different tune........

Mark, Are you thinking for something for the wife :-)

I say you buy a 348 or a 355 and then throw on a Fiero body kit.

Think the 456 would pass by easier than a 400. those 400s have that early sophisticated maserati look in my opinion. Real cool. The 456 can go by and the uninitiated might think at first its a rice burner but then realize quickly its to damn pretty for that.

I would say say the 456, although you still get lots of attention.

I have not owned one but for sure the 400i is the body style that passes without much attention. I personally like the car for its luxury interior and the unique luxury styling as a sedan. The car however just doesn't set off any excitement in any crowd.

I would say the 550, most people don't immediatly clue in to what it is IMHO. The 456 is pretty discreit as well, not to mention stunning.

For those of you who have had a few F-cars, which Ferrari which you consider to be the lowest profile car, generating the least amount of attention while driving. Non owners of these cars, please feel free to chime in. Thanks
