It's funny how someone's garbage can be anothers treasure. I do remember having a piece of styrofoam from the first F-40 in the city...had the emblem on it. |

I have the front and back end of Trickle's 1990 Phillips 66 Pontiac Grand Prix in my garage. He was the official wall tester for Nascar. |

Anyone needing wall hangings? I have several retired Indycar rims to get rid of, reasonable price, some with interesting history. |

my garage - it's the graveyard for broken race car parts......nose cone ....rims......wing......(sigh) on the wall like trophies. An occasional "welcome race fans" banner. It's in the house I have my shrine set up! Nika |

The garage I'm using looks like the set from "Sanford and Son" It's my grandfathers and I had to twist his arm for weeks to get a small spot. But my garage at home (wife's jeep stays there) has Ferrari stuff floor to ceilling, so does my office. |

Many moons ago, I went to a house in the suburbs of Johannisburg. The owner had a Ferrrari collection housed in a marble floored garage, each car had it's own Persian carpet. The team used to prepare the F1 cars there in the 60's I think. |

Here's a recent photo of my garage. I used industrial tile (w/out the sticky back). The tile looks great, but it's soft and if you drop something heavy, it will damage it. I would recommend a heavy/thick ceramic tile. You can also try this product...dridek: http://www.dridek.com. Basically, its a hard plastic tile that you can get in a multitude of colors that lock together. It seems to be a good product and it's not as permanent as tiling with glue or thin set. Also painted the walls to try and match the tile theme.

I like the tile idea my only concern was the snow/salt where my wife parks. Ill be hard pressed to kick her out in the winter. I may do what bobD did by just tiling "my" space. |

Cool shield, Martin. We are currently making a light box for a Dino dealer sign that we just purchased. My husband has painted a Dino and MG logo on the garage walls that look great. We also have a number of other Ferrari signs that we have collected along with Sebring race posters. With four stalls you have a lot of space to cover and blank walls don't do much for me. So I guess we don't have a theme, if we like it we put it up on the wall. |

tile the floor. So much nicer and easier to maintain. Make a mosaik. Very easy.

Paul, I'm a little south of you and I am planning on tile for the floor. I am almost done finishing the storage area and the floor will be done this spring. I have a multitude of racing posters and some marque logos that are going on the wall. Also some of the mounted ads for the cars in the collection. Lots of wall space to fill (26 x 54). I am also planning on some sort of absorbant setup to go under the cars. Some have a habit of "marking their spot"! Best regards. |

Paint a wall yellow and have the copy shop take a prancing horse and blow it up the desired size. Trace to the wall and presto well you know the results! Check out Bobd's garage floor. |

I was wondering what sort of theme/decoration some of you Ferrari owners have in your garages. I just bought a new house and the garage is 30'x 25' insulated and finished with drywall. I would like to paint it and maybe do a Ferrari theme to go with the car. I was considering tiling the floor too but that may be impractical in a northern climate. What do the dealers or some Ferrari shops have for colour combos? Hope this isnt a stupid post but I figure Im not the only nut out there who wants an amazing garage to admire is treasure in. Anyone have pictures? Paul. |
