rodney, i saw a maserati indy when i went for my 4200gt test drive, and thought it was one of the coolest cars i had seen in a while! the lines are great, and the rear seats are actually comfortable. was wondering what it was like to own. it looked difficult to park and manoeuvre in general coz its so big, but maybe just a matter of getting used to it. can u give some insight? |

There was a pretty nice Espada @ Motor Car Gallery in Ft. Lauderdale. I believe they wanted about 20K or there abouts. Great guys to deal with I purchased my 365GT4 2+2 from them. I own the Ferrari & a Maserati Indy. The Espada is the other 2+2 that competed with them. At our recent car show we had my Maserati & Ferrari with an Espada in the middle. My take on the cars side by side is; The Ferrari's fit and finish etc. was much nicer than the Lambo. The Maserati's interior is far more comfy than the other two. It really depends on what you are looking for. The only problem with the Lambo is parts. You will find nice new shiny parts for the Ferrari, and yes you can get parts easily for the Maserati. Thanks for the comments. I am looking for any opinions about the Espada: ...ie the AMC Pacer is a grape, It is difficult to find a good original engined bi-turbo with more than 15,000 miles. The 512 TR has better brakes than the Testarossa etc.... It is reliable when the carbs are set up correctly .... I am trying to get just general + or - about the car. Thank You Ralph |

There's one for sale in San Diego at VIP Classics. They have a web page (VIPclassics.com, I think.) Looks like a decent, honest car (not pristine, I'd call it a 3 or 3+ car). Has CA collector plates on it. |

Looking for a late model TR or 512TR Ferrari. I also have a fascination for a 12 with six webers. I know already about the Boxer and the 365GT 2 + 2. I dropped by to see; if anyone has any information on the early 1970's Lamborghini Espada Series II. Have you owned one or knew someone that has or had? Please kindly let me know; if you have any opinions one way or another. Thank You Ralph |
