Follow-up
Local F dealership plugged into computer which indicated an ecu problem and by moving the pin light off and has stayed off.Probably the sensor in the front bumper was disturbed when bumper removed for painting.Biggest surprise= n/c.Guess I got special treatment since it is a euro!

warning light still on after battery off for 12h.
I wrote on the tech forum that the day before had the front bumper painted and it was suggested that perhaps the sensors were disturbed when the bumper was removed and reattached.Guess I'll find out Tues. The dealer is willing to work on the car.

Can't add anything specific Martin, but the airbag light was on on my Modena when I first test drove it. It was off when the dealer delivered it. Suspect the problem isn't the airbag.

The computer on the Euros is the same... the main issue is whether your dealer is *willing* to work on Euros. (Not all are.)

try turning the battery off for about 12 hours, see if that resets the car

Of course just as the weekend begins the air bag warning light stays on.Manuel says the air bag/and or the seatbelts pretensioners are not working correctly.Anybody else have this trouble? I assume the air bags are probably not functional.
Now I have to hope the dealership computer can read out the problem on the euro.I have heard different reports whether the computer works on Euros.Any feedback would be appreciated.
