Hey Randy, I dropped my own 512 off with Tillack whose shop is down the road from Brembo so They will use my car. They told me they would measure it this week & put my car on a truck back to me next monday, Maybe by July I can finally get some serious brakes Then wer'e gonna see a 1:59 at the glen & a 0:59 at Lime Rock Yeah Baby!!! |

I got the same answer a few months ago William, but didn't think anyone would need as large of a brake kit as you do! They can do great work on the cars, and squeezing a large rotor under those 18"ers shouldn't be a problem. I wonder how different the caliper mounting brackets would be for a TR (pre-512TR). hmmm. |

I spoke to the Brembo people about a brake upgrade for the 512TR. They say they can make 1 but they need a 512TR for about 6 hours for measurements etc. So if u have a 512TR near LA & have 6 hours to spare and u r interested in getting bigger brakes also. Then please do all of us 512TR owners a favor & take your car over to Brembo. The guy I spoke to gave me a card of his co-worker Tara Beattie their phone at Brembo is 714-734 9726. Thanks |
