Martin, I really hope that you come to see us in Vancouver! On that day, the weather is ususally good and we had a great day last year and a fantastic dinner the night before the Sunday car show at Waterfront Park in North Vancouver. Some of the US members that attended last year stayed at the Lonsdale Quay Hotel in North Vancouver which is 2 minutes from Waterfront Park . This is a good hotel with underground parking. Other US visitors last year stayed at the Sheraton Wall Center Hotel in downtown Vancouver which is a very fine hotel an also has underground parking.. A tip to the bellman might allow you to leave your car in the enterance driveway overnight under his direct vision all night but it is outside. I often leave my TR there for a few hours to meet my wife for a drink! This hotel will be half way between the dinner Sat. night at Brock House in Vancouver and the car exibition on Sunday in North Vancouver. Hope to see you here! Don. |

What about Lord Stanley Suites? I hear they are quite well appointed. They have apartment suites which suit some more than others as they offer more space than an hotel. E-mail:

Although I am not from Van, I hope to visit in July. Hence I had done some homework on accommodation there. |

Hey, Martin!
The Seattle FCA group will be going up to B.C. on June 15th and do an overnighter to participate in the Italian Car Show there on Sunday, June 16th. We're taking the scenic route up with stops at a few interesting spots. Last year, 18 cars from the U.S. side attended and we're hoping to match or exceed that this year. Would like to drive up from Portland and spend some time in your lovely city.Thinking of driving the 360 however need some advice as to where to stay where my "baby" will be safely parked.Are there any hotels that have some kind of suitable parking?
Would like to stay at a hotel or B and B close to Stanley park where I love to walk.Thanks in advance. |
