David; BMW is one of my clients, as well as Mercedes-Benz ( right across the road from eachother )I spend most day's at BMW. My other client is Dow-Jones & The Wall Street Journal. I hope everyone will try out the new WSJ.com online newspaper that took 16 months of my life from me. It is truly a great site, and you can get a 30 day free trial. |

I'm glad to hear they are bringing the M6 back. The old one is one of my favorite cars. |

The new 760Li is also going to be a nice mover with 408 hp an 442 lbs-ft. Not too bad.... Also, anyone who has placed their order for a new M3, BMW NA just released for the US market 19" rims vs the 18". just an FYI |

Somehow I am a little skeptical that BMW will provide a 575 hp car to the U.S. My bet would be we get a detuned iteration ,at least for openers. |

Go to Register or Edit on the left side, put in your name and you will be able to see your recent posts. You can edit the most recent ones (I think within like 15 minutes of posting) but clicking on edit, changing it around, and then clicking save. |

Now for the bad news, all that engineering will be clothed in one of the ugliest European car designs in history. The new 6-series will look like a "mini-me" of the new 7-series, an offensively ugly design by BMW's new designer Chris Bangle.

Frank what decade are you living in?-- I assume that's 2004 as a 2005 model. |

I spoke with a friend of mine who works for BMWNA yesterday. He said the new BMW M6 is a go and should be at your local BMW store in 2004 as a 2005 model. It will have a detuned version of the WilliamsBMW F1 V-10 with 575 horsepower. It will have NO camshafts. The valves will be actuated by electro-hydro cylinders. 0-60mph times expected to be in the high 3 second range. This will be a five passenger coupe. I want one as my dailey driver ! |
