Argyleco - I remind you that whatever you buy and who ever you buy from GET a history of the car. Ask for a carfax report. See if it makes sense. I bought a Testarossa that had been shipped around the world. The problem was it had too many unskilled hands working on it. Next time around I did the research. Just a reminder.

I hope this helps, I'm not a big Ferrari fan because of their crappy quality but I always want to make sure that a car lover gets hooked up and not screwed over. Too many people out there try to make a fast buck off of aficanados such as us.

P.S. I don't know what your price range is but a 97-02 NSX with a Baschboost supercharger is a much better bang for the buck than most (not all) Ferraris. Plus you have the added bonus of the fact that the car can sit in an airport lot for 14 days in the pouring rain and you getting off a exhausting trans-pacfic flight and be safe and secure in the knowledge that you car will A. start and B. not be a fishbowl from leaks in the targa. :-) Good luck in your search for your ultimate Italian stallion and if you wanna switch over to the dark side (or the sushi side) your always welcome.

P.P.S God I gotta lay off the wine this late at night. :-)

I bought a 328 from them about 2 years ago. The car had some minor imperfections that weren't mentioned. When a problem with the transmission developed, they did kick in for part of the repair. I would say they were pretty honest. They pretty much run a detail shop and send out most mechanical work. I didn't get the feeling I had been lied to, only that they maybe weren't as discerning as I was, of course, I was the one spending the dollars. I haven't heard any disasterous horror stories about them which was why I dealt with them. They did negotiate on price. It's my finding when the cash is placed before them they wake up and deal somewhat. They came down about 8% on the 328 but I had to work at it for that to happen and I also was buying it in the winter when they were hungry. There are far worse folks (even in that same city) to deal with.
Best of luck, If you go there or talk on the phone with them tell them I said hello.

Argyleco - I purchased a highline car from them in the past. They came down a little bit from the price, but not much. The condition of the car was 99% of what it was advertised, except for a few almost unnoticeable scratches. Being a car nut, I found them after a close inspection; the average Joe might not have. They were pleasent to deal with (even took me out to lunch).

Good luck,
Chris.

I spoke to them when shopping for a 348 spider.

They seemed ok, the only thing I didn't like was their price! They wouldn't budge, meanwhile I had many better offers.

Good luck
