Ouch - Sorry Jim
I had a minivan driver do the same to my BRIGHT YELLOW SUV recently. (like you can miss that vehicle!) How someone can *not* check their mirrors often is beyond comprehansion. I forced her to stop and luckily had 2 witnesses that just saw her turn into me.

They didn't want to go thru insurance but I refused to go to their "friend's" shop - no cheese job on any of my vehicles. Remember this truck has genuine Ferrari paint. Turns out we agreed on a price then when we met up for the transaction I got a sob story and only half of the money. Call me a fool but it really wasn't worth the fight.....I just chastised them for not keeping their word.

and speaking of chastising - William - your language is disgusting and there's no need for it - try to show some sort of respect or go back to your trailer park.

wheel technologies does all the wheel repairs around Texas. they have a phone # in the yellow pages under wheel repair, and they are located in Dallas. I just had a wheel repaired (not my wheel/not my fault, mind you) a few weeks ago. Its ~$130 - maybe cheaper since there's no shipping. Turnaround time is one day.

While driving down a major road last weekend, a careless soccer mom in her minivan decided she'd rather be in my lane, even though I was there right next to her. I guess she didn't look low enough. She moved quickly into my lane and even with a full application of brakes and horn, she pushed me into the median. She never even stopped coming over. The good news is, the median was breaking for the left turn lane. The bad news is, the left rear wheel clipped the curb, hard. I know have to get my wheel repaired or pay $800-$1100 for a replacement. Has anyone here had to do a wheel repair? What were you experiences? Does anybody know a place in Dallas to get it done?
