the show is held at the Museum of Transportation which is in Brookline near Jamaica Plain on the edge of Lars Andersen park. http://www.mot.org, i belive. i'm on the Ferrari of New England mailing list - I got a thing in the mail about it. i may have also gotten something in the mail from foc or fca about it, though i'm not entirely sure on that. it was sponsored by FoNE and Putnam Leasing (this year - maybe all years?). watch the mot.org web site for details on next year's show. i'll also try to post here if i remember. there is another show in hartford on the 23rd (if memory serves). don't know if i'll make it down there for that. i'm pretty sure this one is an fca or foc event. doody! |

Where exactly is this show held? I too have missed it every single year as I never see it advertised before the show. I always see an article somewhere about it after it's already passed--just like this year. |

son of a fucking whore- why do i miss these things every year and why can't we swear- swearing keeps you balanced- helps get the anger out actually the more that i think about these red dots the more i feel it almost makes the swears more powerful.... in the same respect bleeping swears out on television really increases ones notice of the swearing enough on the swearing tangent- doody isn't there another italian auto show around boston this summer- i've never seen an f40 or f50 - or most of the older models- sad in boston DC

i was a dope and ran out of the house without my camera :-(. i'm hoping someone else here was at this car show on sunday and can post some pics! if you only have film pics, email me - i'd be happy to scan them in. it was my first time at this show, and i enjoyed it thoroughly. i'd guess there were about 100 ferraris, including (with personal bias): * two to-die-for 275s that were pure sex on wheels * a few really nice dino 246s * a 550 barchetta * a brand new 575M * a stunning testa rossa the 355 contingent was fairly slim - i think i'll have to show next year! lots of 308 and 328 coverage; pretty good 348 coverage and 360 coverage. a bunch of testarossas, but no 512TRs nor F512Ms that i saw. an F40 and an F50. gorgeous weather, to boot, though it rained a bit before the show. there were also a smattering of lambos, a couple detomasos, and a slew of fiats and alfas. anyone have pics? i want snaps of the black and the blue 275s. yowza. doody! |
