hmmmm, did we somehow lose this thread yestrerday? I remembeber me and a few other contirbuting to it.....
Ernesto and Tino where are you guys?

Tubi definitely make a thermally insulated sport manifold for the F355 - I could check back about the 360. Anyhow minus cats the car is a LOT louder (an ADDITIONAL 10db - and remember db is a logartihmic scale), no less driveable and you WILL feel the performance increase - esp through mid range.

The Tubi test pipes have threads for your sensors to be attatched, but here is where I get confused - it depends upon whether or not your car has pre-cats or not as to whether the check engine light will be triggered.
Ernesto said he didn't need O2 simulators becuase his light was never triggered but I don't know what model 360he has.
This will not make any differenct to the actual performance of the engine. The warning light itself can be easily disconnected without any implications for the health of the engine.

Also - it is a very good idea to get a set of Competition Air filter to augment any power increase - they're comparatively inexpensive cheap and they really do change induction sound to something a little more raspy.

Tubi also do 'silenced test pipes' and (i think) they do an super loud race-style tube only silencer (definite for 550/355) - unlike your conventional tubi - this system is for MAX performance and has no muffler AT ALL - as a result it is race car loud and completely crazy - I have yet to hear it on a 360 but I love it already.

The picture below is of a 550 Maranello with test pipes installed:

I was thinking of removing the cats and had some questions:
How much Hp does this offer
What do you do with the thermocouples, and computer
Does tubi make a manafold
does it make the car louder, or less drivable
