Mark, I have seen it running out of the the overflow tube on the driver's side of the rear of the engine on my 95 f355. If you are losing significant amounts of fluid after just casual driving, you have an issue thats needs to be investigated. Your best bet is to find a shop that will put a dye into your antifreeze and then get a blacklight and find the origin of the leak. Sorry I am not able to be more help... Chris |

Right on Cmparrf40. 355's do belch some P/S fluid upon rigorous use, and yes Tdf355, I notice some antifreeze residue around the cap area of the resevoir atop the engine. It's occurred on my previous 355 as well. Just seems to be the nature of the beast. I did have the coolant hose along the firewall passenger side leak as the hose clamp was not completely tight on my '95 also, but other than that, the cooling system seems rather robust. HTH.

Thanks for the answer Chris . Its a pretty good amount of Antifreeze though. Where do you notice it after running at the track? |

Mark, it is possible you just had a little extra coolant in the system. I am not aware of any inherant weakness in the cooling system on F355. I have seen them blow off coolant after being run hard on the track though, pretty typical. 355's will also lose power steering fluid if driven very hard, this due to the cap and tank design which sits on top of the engine. Early F355 are more prone to this condition, but ALL 355 are suspect to this codition. This usually does not happen to road driven cars, but if you stretch its legs on the track, you may see fluid on top of the engine, usually nothing to be alarmed about... Chris |

Have any of you experienced an unknown antifreeze leak? I took the cover off of the recovery tank when i noticed a "spray" of antifreeze in that general area. All hoses are tight and I removed the tank and there are no cracks. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Mark |
