Visiting the pits is a tough thing becuase of the massively increased security (Normal security was high and then 9/11 made it tougher). Knowing all the FoD, FoH and FoS guys that I know, we couldn't even get a close look at the Ferrari challenge stuff.

Plus, FNA charges $3.5K per person for luxury seats and a chance to meet the drivers, so I doubt they'll be much "non-paid" opportunity to meet them. :-(

I have a track day scheduled at putnam park 9/26, lunch and breakfast supplied with plenty of track time for you early arrivals in Indy. Tech at my shop evening before, pizza and refreshment provided. My seats are in AA 1-8 stand H, great view!

Those shrimp cocktails are usually 9 bucks. If enough people want to go maybe we can get reservation. Takes about 3 hours to get in (if at all) during race weekend. They dont take reservations that weekend. I travel to and from Indy on buisness often.

I will be going, I'm only 16, don't have a Ferrari, but I will be there, if all of you are meeting together maybe my dad and I could tag along? I'm sure there will be more plans as the event nears...

I am thinking about making plans to trek to IN for the US Grand Prix on Sunday September 29th.

Might the members here be interested in setting up an event?

Maybe a dinner on Saturday? Maybe among us we have some pull with FNA to let us meet "the boys" or at least visit with "the toys" in the pits?

Thoughts?

Doody.
