I have to add to this story. I read an article about 10 years ago that said the reason Mr. Rubirosa was so reknowed as a lover was not only that he had "larger than life" qualities, but also that he refused to allow himself to climax, thereby prolonging indefinitely the pleasure of his partner. No wonder he drove Ferrari's, he had to get release somewhere! |

Unbelievable man, a real playboy that lived form 1909 to 1965. Married 5 times, usually wealthy American heiresses. Hooked up at one time or another with Dolores Del Rio, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Ava Gardner, Veronica Lake, Jayne Mansfield, Marilyn Monroe, Kim Novak, and Eva Peron. He raced Ferraris and even died in one! Known to be very well endowed and sometimes hand pepper mills at restaurants are called a "rubirosa".
