Peter.. If you want your GT4, it looks like it's going to have to be a 1/43.... http://warm-up-f1.com/store/bbr-70.html |

For $45K more, they could have had the real thing!!! Will these things be $500 by year end?! http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=580105755 http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=579440116 |

Yes, I bought a while back their 250 California Spyder...Nice paint, beautiful wire-wheels, decent engine/drivetrain/tubular chassis detail. A good model at a good price. I hope they will eventually release the 308 line of cars (my GT4 in particular!). |

The only new Ferrari models I've seen are Hot Wheels. Must be that exclusive contract, I heard somewhere a figure of apx $50 mil. I'm not the model expert, but I'm very happy with the quality. |

From what I have read, Mattel toys now has exclusive rights to all Ferrari model toys and can license others to produce some at their discretion. That is why they are drying up. |

So with these high prices, does that mean that Anson discontinued production? |

I have to know, did Anson make a black/tan 328gts or are the ones on e-bay after market paint? |

I'll give you $75 for it, but since you can sell it for more on EBay, it looks like I'll be waiting many years for the price to come down. |

I bought mine new in 1996 (paid $30Cdn for it). I had the choices of red and yellow. I took the yellow because it looked better and all my other models were in red...boring! It stands out nicely in my display cabinet in a sea of red. I wouldn't change it. |

Be careful guys. Some of these models are aftermarket red. With the prices going up the snake oil guys pull out the paint cans to get more for what was an easy to find/afford yellow 328. |

I bought mine from E-Bay about two months ago for $60.00 which included shipping from Germany. I guess Schumie is helping the prices up! |

Hey Jerret, I'll take what I can get! Who else makes the 328?...No one. When they're the only game in town... |

Man, I can not believe they are getting that much for the 328 model. It really is not a very good model - the windshield sags when you remove the targa top and the detail is awful. There are much better model manufacturers out there (Kyosho is excellent), but Anson was the only one to make the 328. Later, Jerrett |

Herbert, take a look at companies like Kyosho and Autoart, they keep coming out with Lotus' and other junk and not of the most popular Ferrari! I'm praying for the day that I'll see a GT4 on the shelf. Is this because of strong copyright laws on design? (doesn't make sense in that respect considering all of the other Ferraris built by either of these companies, like the 348, 355, 360, 288GTO, Boxer, TR, etc...). Lets start a petition! |

Speaking of model cars, I bought a 1/18 Burago 288 GTO Metal Kit (#7027) a couple weeks ago. Came pre-painted and all the parts snapped together (no glue - lazy man's model). The last model I built was, well it was many, many years ago. Took about 2 hours... what a hit.

Why is it that the 308, which was one of the most popular Ferrari's ever, is so hard to find a decent model of such as the Anson 328. Come on Mattel give us a Red/Tan 308GTSI!!!!!!!! |

There are a couple on eBay now... but they're getting more and more expensive. Red Ansons are selling for $100+. Yellow ones are less. Search: Anson Ferrari 328 |

I have a 1:18 red 328 GTS at home made by Anson, so they are available. Try searching the web with Google (www.google.com) to find someone selling one. Later, Jerrett |
