I bought the magnetic ones and one had somehow disappeared within a week. They also put tiny scratches in the finish. I then put on the vinyl ones and they look great.

I had mentioned this site http://web.tiscali.it/autoretro/ in an earlier thread for Ferrari badges and they have the 80X100mm Ferrari shield for $260.00 each and not far off from what Roberts asking. I bought from them recently and shipping was $6.00 from Italy to the left coast. If that is the correct size then that is a good price for original factory shields. I am not that sure on size though.

Italian Car Parts is always the most expensive.

$24.95 for a raised shield sticker? You can get that for half at the Ferrari dealer.

Greg,
in all point, the raised ones are not "real" either.
I hear you though. It is so much easier if you do not want to have the shield on all the time.

To me the raised ones look the best still. May want to apply the magnetic backing to a raised one.

Martin, I wasn't trying to pass the one's that I've made off as the real deal, but, depending upon the reason for use, they do quite well.

I just bought the raised ones to apply them to the new car we got in stock. They were $12 each and they look real.
I also have the magnetic ones which I find flimsy and not all that great looking. It is a flat sticker applied to a magnetic sheet, as previously mentioned. You can see the black magnetic stril on the side and basically see that these are not the real thing.

Go all the way with raised ones. The extra $$$ is well worth it

Ryanab, rather than purchasing them, they are so easy to make.

Get the stickers from your F-car dealership and you can buy the magnetic sheets from any craft store. Apply the stickers to the magnetic sheets and cut, cut, cut. They look great!

I am currently looking for SF shields for my car. I know that magnetic ones exist and this is where I would like to go. All info is appreciated!

Thanks,
