Actually, it was something along the lines of getting blown before losing the house.

The "Lord" gave us penises to spread our DNA. It didn't come with instructions because he doesn't care what we do with them. "A voice cometh down from the mountain and said 'Go forth and splunkith upon all ye survey.'"

Never heard that one, but my top guesses are...

1) Nothing!

2) Hurricane causes less damage.

3) Hurricanes go in circles, ex-wifes go straight for the money.

4) Hurricanes go away.

5) At least part of a hurricane is calm.

Da.., been doing this all wrong.

With ex-wife had lots of non-commitment and plenty of games. I paid her dearly but she did not exit promptly when I tired of her company.

LOL, Dave

PS: I thought this was suppose to be about Ferraris.

where is Nika?

:-)

ahhh, we have 3 religious discussions going at the same time ! Could we ask for more on a Wednesday. So many more days before I can go and be molested by my priest on Sunday again.

<sorry>

BTW, I am here fully with Rob. In Frankfurt, where I grew up we have a whole 6 story house on the Kaiserstrasse, called "Kontakthof", they have all little rooms that the girls rent by the day from the operator, it is secure with cameras and bouncers if one gets roudy. You take the elevator up to the 6th floor, then walk the hallways and the girls are standing in front of the doors. Look at them and the price is set by the floor you are on. The further down you come the more it will cost you. Nice setup.

I do not see the difference between doing this and modeling. You make money with your body.

"With a car like that, why would anyone need escort girls?"

Dave, it's not the sex you are paying for. Most of us can have sex(wife, girfriend, one night stand, whatever..), it's the non-commitment and lack of games you are paying for. You don't pay the escort for sex, you pay for her to exit promptly when you tire of her company.

What many of you seem to be missing is a huge cultural difference: in many countries outside of the U.S., it is probably more acceptable to pay for sex (as payor or payee) than it is to be seen flaunting one's wealth in an expensive car that has no justification, whatsoever; this, in societies where conspicuous display of personal wealth is considered more uncouth than showing up at a social event with a paid escort on one's arm. As for being punished, we probably all have enough to repent for, without wishing more on our brethren.

There is nothing wrong with a woman selling her body. The issue is why some guys think that is wrong. It's every boys fantasy to get paid for sex. Why discriminate?

FerrariJoe, I was in part purporting a pun in my last comment. I do not judge the fellow for his use of a whore, we all have sinned and fell short of the glory of God. He does not need my forgiveness anyway. I am a too am a sinner. Further, he may already be a Christian but was suffering from a trangression of the flesh at the time of the unfortunate accident. I wish him no harm, but God does have a way of punishing sin and chastising his children in ways us mortals can not understand. Finally, I agree that we should all keep most FC comments to matters of Fiat and it's subsidiaries.

Frank,

I am sure you will, but I thought there was also a practice among the religious types of forgive and forget. Am I stating this correctly and have you said a little prayer for all the unfortunate ones involved in the accident? I mean besides the driver of course.

Way to go Andrew! See what you started :-)

And if you look at the road, it seems like a narrow two way road. That's probably why they involved in a head-on collision. Oh yeah, the flowers are definitely not from the bushes. Somebody put them on the windshield intentionally.

Ok, I think I know what happened. The 360 and the other silver car were in a head-on collision. Notice how the left parts of the front ends of those cars were damaged? They probably hit each other in the left side of the front end in a head-on collision. I dont know about the green car though.

Rob, a huge amount of our tax dollars are wasted prosecuting and jailing people who commit victimless cimes. I've never understood why some people don't think twice about two consenting adults "hooking up", but if one of them accepts money in exchange then the same people get all bent out of shape. It's an exchange of goods, plain and simple.

Of course I'm happily married. She is there in the morning, she does hang around through the next week, she does b itch about my stuff laying around. I love her very much!

#1 I question if that's the real story.

#2 To go for a potential new record on FC, they all seem to be NFC anyway... A woman owns her body and should be able to do anything she wants with it. Don't knock the gal for being entrepreneurial. I give escorts, prostitutes, and strippers much credit, they've outsmarted all the men while taking their money. Is it really a man's world?

Sometimes I wonder how many resources are being wasted towards victimless vice crimes.

Where is the forgiveness in that comment below?

At least it was an escort, which are probably more expensive (and maybe cleaner, doubtful though) than a $50 whore. Damn immoral people selling their bodies. Even though i dont like seeing people get hurt, i cant help but slightly agree with frank.

Here are the details from "Seven" in Belgium on bmwm5.com:

The Ferrari is standing at the red lights, the driver doesn't notice the lights have turned green. (btw, he has an escort girl sitting on the passenger seat)
The car behind him starts hooting, so the ferraridriver shows his middle finger and floores it.
200m further there is a tricky bump in the road; anyhow, he's driving to fast to take it properly. He loses control of the steering wheel, hits a VW and the ferrari goes airborne. He lands on a Opel.
No brake or slipmarks, full speed crash on both other cars.

The ferraridriver had a hole in his head, but he was ok. The escort girl had a little pain in her shoulder. The Opel driver banged his head against the front window and had a skull fracture; heavily injured. The one in the VW had a massive wiplash and probably internal bleedings

I'll bet the guy veered into the bushes, thinking it would be a lot softer than hitting the other car, which maybe turned in front of him or something.... not knowing there was some sort of solid wall behind those bushes. Gosh I hate seeing things like this... though the Ferrari looks pretty bad, sometimes the worst looking car-nage (no pun intended) means the best for the driver.... meaning, the car itself absorbed all the impact and took all the damage, while the driver escaped unharmed. Let's hope that was the case.

I think those leaves on the hood look like they were from the bush he crashed into. and the plastic could have been from some medical devise used by EMS...

I don't think someone would run to the local flower shop to place flowers on the car moments after the accident...

The flowers look like they came out of the car. They are all bent out of shape. I think the car took that pretty good.
Looks to me more like a total loss of car than loss of life.

Hard to say what really happenned by these pics but i wonder how many hits the Ferrari took since there are two other cars involved. Perhaps it had more than one collsion. One of the car's an then the wall. Airbags only work once.

I know the car is scrapped, but I don't think the crash was fatal. Maybe the flowers were for the car? I've seen some people walk away from a lot worse looking accidents. The passenger compartment doesn't look to bad to me. I agree the fireman problably tore it up. If you are in an accident you want the car to look bad, that means it absorbed the impact instead of you. However, I would not have wanted my feet to be in the drivers side foot well.

Andrew,
The 360 is definately from the UK, The other car looks like it has a Dutch license plate....The damage is truly terrifying....Amongst other things I would think the car hit a tree (far worse than a wall....which tend to collapse on impact)

That is a scary sight..

If the car is deemed a total loss at this point, will the insurance company pay the market value of the car or will it pay the purchase price of the car..appraisal value
(secondary market price is $270,000 here in the U.S.)

I don't think it is as bad as it looks - I mean, the ferrari is pretty much shot but the seats don't look to me like they moved in the crash. It looks like the cops released the seatbacks when they piled all that debris in the car.

In fact the passenger compartment of the Ferrari is pretty intact - look at the door, it's not deformed from at all from the bulkhead back. Pretty good for hitting a solid wall. Compare that to the crumpled door / doorframe on the green Mazda - which obviously took a much lesser hit...

Check how the seats moved ! This is scary .
Plus when you see the other cars they dont look too bad ..
I thought Ferrari were more crash resistant than that ?
