I'm in Maine until next Wednesday. It's pouring up here and the forecast is rain til Wednesday. Hope we do better in August. Bruce and I will be putting something together shortly, directions an all.
Everyone should feel invited, just couples (can't fit more then that in an f-car anyway).
We are looking forward to meeting everyone.

Tim,

Thanks, would love to show you my Esprit. The one I have is 95 S4s, the last of the 4-cylinder models and hence is considered the best and most reliable of its kind (and IMHO too). The reliability and build quality kept on improving further with V8 models starting in 97 up to now. GM ownership seemed to have helped indeed; many of the parts are GM-sourced (with an exception of the ugly air bag steering wheel that just doesn't look right in there). Style-wise, IMHO, it's one insanely beautiful car (especially the S4s with its wing), with all its line and curves, and it does indeed resemble F355 the design of which I also like a lot (among other F cars: TR, 308, etc.). I hope you'll see what I mean.

Leonardo,

Would love to go for a ride on a Sunday. Where in NJ are you, if I may ask?

Thanks,

Anton.

Oh...how I would love to join you guys at the BBQ and see all those awesome machines, but I am about 10K miles away in Hong Kong. Oh..wait, I think I will be in the states during that time in the Chicago area. Damn, it's still several hundred miles away. Oh well...maybe some other time. Please do post some pics of the event afterwards. Have fun!

Anton, i'd love to se your Esprit. I want an S4s when im out of college. They are fast and i can work on them myself. I would go with a 308 but i get the impression that the lotus is more reliable (which english cars generally arent known for, but i guess GM's ownership helped alot.) I also love the look of the lotus- low and fast. The lines are similar to an F355.

Many thanks to John and Linda for their kind invitation to this party, and to Bruce for spreading the word. Based on the assumption that non-F cars may be allowed too, I would love to show up with my Lotus, and meet our wonderful hosts and everyone else - at last, in person. Not to mention I live in Princeton as well.

My plans for August are not clear yet, but I'll do my best to make it to the party on 8/17. Looking forward to meeting many F-car enthusiasts from this group and of course their cars too.
