Art,
I will contact FoBH this morning and see if they will let me drop the car on their lot and handle the truck pick up.

If not then this will probably be my only choice.

Martin:

Santa Anna is about 50 miles south of LA on Interstate 5. Fontana is where the racetrack is and is about the same distance but east of LAX, on Interstate 10 I believe, but Ontario Airport is close by. Let me know if those will work for you.

Martin:

My friend Larry Pointer has an auto rental business in Santa Ana, and has connections at the race track at Fontana. If either one of those locations works, I'm sure that I can get him to store the vehicle there until it is picked up. Let me know.

Not really, i had my east coast dealer call them in advance, got the name of the service manager, then i got in contact with him directly: why don't you just call and ask for him and see what he is willing to do. It seems to me that this is part of what the dealer network should be about, kind of like harley's fly and ride. let us know.

Martin, why not drive the Spider back. It would be a fun week of driving. Mayby you could hire an escort to ride alone. Ha Ha

I've done this thru F o Beverly Hills, they were very accomodating; didn't charge me anything, either.

Art, I really do not care where in LA. I will be flying in on Wednesday and pick up the Spider, drive it for a few days and need a place to drop it on Saturday for the truck to pick it up. Will be flying back on Sunday.

Anybody that has an easy access for a 18 wheeler that can spare a space for me to leave the car there for a day or two?
