Want to know how safe they are? Take a look at www.grossfamily.net/deadmondial.htm. Clearly, the only reason my wife is alive is the presence of a Ferrari around her. Estimated impact with tree in passenger door is 60-65 mph. - JMG |

From the looks of the pix, the Dino was rear-ended then pushed into the car ahead of it. The passenger compartment is surprisingly intact for a targa topped car. That's the problem with driving an exotic car. Drivers around you focus on your ride and forget about everything else (like driving). Be careful out there, people. |

I bet this guy is kind of upset about this whole thing too, so I don't know that we should hang him from the gallows quite yet. I doubt a Dino owner was doing his Fast and the Furious impression for something like this to happen. Looks like he got plowed into and that pushed him into someone else (I would've been plowed into twice now if I hadn't moved, once at a light and once getting onto the Tappan Zee). What impresses me the most though is how crash worth these Fcars are in front and back collisions. I guess those hand welded tube frames are worth more than just performance, saving your life isn't so bad either as a list of benefits. The cockpit is barely damaged while the rear end is trashed, I bet that relatively thing steel body makes a pretty good crumple zone, especially in the Dino which has that big trunk area back there. |

No matter how this 246 got hammered, it is so sad to see a gorgeous Pininfarina body like this get trashed....RIP... |

Yeah, that car looks in bad shape, The whole frame is mangled. That's a parts car in my opinion. Anyone see the yellow "ferrari" suv on ebay, is nika bidding on it? |

I thought the front looked bad, but the rear!? ouch! yes, it does look fog related. Just doesn't look like $17K to me - nor anyone else since there are no bids on this auction. |

looks to me like a fog related multi car crash...not much you can do when you get hit in the rear.

Maybe he can't park. Oh God, I hope this car doesn't wind up at the AUTO TOY STORE! |

Yeah, I can see how his loss would upset you?! I wonder what you would have said about my last Ferrari... |
