Peter:

I took it easy on snow and only drove about !!)mph - just joking.

The car handled nice but I realized today that the tire pressure was too low for the speed I did. It was 33 PSI all way around, now I have 45 rear and 38 front and the handling improved quite a bit. That's why I felt that the car was a bit unstable at !^) mph (@^) kmh is what the speedometer actually showed). Oh well.

Ben:
The car is still too dirty for picks. I'll post them after cleaning. But I found out that it's actually not a sport exhaust (that's why the seller did not mention it). He removed the second mufflers inc. pipes and put on just nice self made pipes. The Euro versions have a second muffler not like the US versions. The pipes are about 3 1/4 inches round each and they look and sound really good (not too loud, not too quiet either). I will sure leave it as it is.

The stereo is a Kenwood KDC 5060R / KDC C-711 changer plus 2 x 100 W Caliber CA 200 Mosfet Amplifier plus JBL speakers, 3 for each side. The Bass is amazing. Does that make sense?

Christian, how did it handle at 160mph in the snow? I've been there before and there'll be snow at the toll booths even in May! Ahhh, the Canadian Rockies.

Sweet. I especially like that you let it stretch its legs on that pass. Good work.

Congrats on your TR! Now this begs to ask what's the stereo (+components) and what does the sport exhaust look like? (Pics)?

I like that your front skirt is body color and those euro front (turn) lenses are rather hard to find (but I have them on mine as well)...

Picked up my TR today. I don't know what I like better, the stereo (one of the best I have heard) or the sport exhaust system which I did not expect (stock exhaust was in the trunk)

TR

On my way from Vancouver to Kelowna I had to drive over a pass. About 5 miles after this picture was taken I drove more than !^) mph (lights turned on - the car would have made !*% mph if I would have had the chance).

TR

The TR is faster than a 348 spider but also heavier. The way the gas pedal has to go to reach the bottom (put the pedal to the metal) is quite long. Much more leg room than a 348. The driver seat is lowered which gives me (5'11") lots of head room (at least 2 inches).

I think that the Mondial handles better but only a direct comparisson will show.
