Tyler, you sound like one 'o them satellite folk we don't take too kindly to 'round here. Why don't ch'all jus' keep to yerselves. Ken--perfect use of a "Python"! God bless you. Remember, always look on the bright side of life. Martin-- if you're not familiar, I highly suggest you get your tail down to B'Buster and rent "Life of Brian", "The Holy Grail" and "The Meaning of Life". You will laugh, and you will laugh hard. |

You mean there are people out there that actually have no hi-speed access? And spend 100k+ on cars? Only in America. |

One could also argue that there must be a God, otherwise Ferrari would have been bankcupt so many times before and would have never been able to survive. |

Ahhhhhhhh now you bring Satan into it! Indeed, Satan is obviously at work in the world. How else do you explain Osama bin Laden, Yassar Arafat, the IRS, Health Insurance Companies, Supras, Tom Daschle, Stevie Ray Vaughns death, the entire SUV craze, fast food or Porsche no longer fielding a factory racing team? All the obvious work of the evil one.... |

Now that really hurts Art and them are some fighting words! It is one thing to have a fish on your Ferrari, but it is a serious matter when you make fun of a guys Internet access. I just happen to live in a small town/village that does not have the high-speed cable or DSL connections yet. If you have a problem with that then I suggest you cancel your next trip to Fresno, come up here, and get the town elders to allow high-speed Internet access to the "Village". |

Art I'm sooooo sick of hearing you DSL people preach on and on, what about those of us that believe in cable? Seriously, your rotten attitude toward your broadband bretheren is revolting. The financially challenged dial-up people you mentioned are indeed lepers and should be stoned.....JUST KIDDDING!!I LOVE ALL YOU GUYS!! I like good debates(even though they rarely change minds) and I enjoy differing opinions. The diversity on this board makes it interesting and of one thing I am sure. I wholeheartedly believe in the holy trinity of cables(dial-up,DSL,cable) that brings this big happy diverse family together! |

For those of you that objected to the other thread, because IT TAKES TOO LONG TO LOAD I strongly recommend that upgrade your connection. The length of the thread is how we discriminate against those financially challenged who can't afford a DSL. Art |

Whart, You are missing the point for starting this new thread. It is because the "other" thread had 240+ posts and took too long to load. I guess the suspense was too much to wait.

Brian from "The Life Of Brian". He's mistaken for Jesus and spends the whole movie making pithy observations that the masses totally misinterpret. He finally takes the rap and gets crucified. There are several really classic scenes that the more fundementalist Christians would be very offened at. Which is good since some of them need to be offended! |

Ken, you will probably have to clarify who Brian is. This "documentary" is likely banned the the Church. |

When people are arrogant enough to actually think they can teach God's Plan, hurt feelings and wars usually result. Didn't Brian say, "You're supposed to work it out for yourself"? (I find Monty Python more valuable than the Bible for clarity of religious thought). |

So Richelson, Are all non religeous people a**holes, or just people that don't follow your same beliefs? You state that there are a wide variety on the other thread. I assume that you mean that more than 1 other person on the other thread are a**holes. |

Points have been made and the thread IMO has nothing left to discuss. Read my last post on that thread. I don't quite follow your logic on this but this thread was started and does have a connection so either way it isn't out of the ring. |

Yeah, but weren't you knee-deep in the argument, and now you just stand aside, on a different thread, and say, sotto voce, "boy are they a bunch of assholes." If you want to keep arguing about it, i think, in fairness, you have to stay in the ring, not step outside of it, and then take your shots, if you get what i mean... |
