I was told if you wanted to pay and order a car Ferrari would put any combination together that you wanted on a 308. |

I was dealing on a '77 308 last spring and it was gold with black interior. At first I didn't really like it but after I drove it and started dealing on it I really liked it. I don't know about the brown interior though. |

Yes, that is absolutely an original factory color. A very rare color. I'm not convinced that is a "nice" color for a 308....but hey, I'd drive a pink and green 308 if I had too, just cause I love 308s. |

I've seen that metallic gold color before. I saw one in northern illinios at the Volo Auto Museum. I've also seen some other pics of cars in that color on the net and here on FC... so just based on the number of 308's I've seen in that color I would venture to say that it was available from the factory, most likely it was a special order though. |

I've seen those dark brown interiors listed as "saddle" as opposed to the standard beige/tan |

When shopping for my 328, Ferrari of Washington had a red one with a dark brown (chocolate-colored) interior. Not too attractive IMO.

It may have been a special order body color. I have seen a brown interior on a red 308 {wasn't pretty} and it seemed to be the original stuff so that interior color was probably available IMHO. |

Tillman, To my knowledge I don't think that color was a factory color. But how about the chocolate interior also. |

Sorry guys, but all my books I normally use for research are all packed away for my move. I was browsing the Car Trader site and came across this:
