I have the same trouble with my 328 GTS. Try not putting the nozzle in all the way. Also don't squeeze the trigger all the way, pump at half or less pressure , this should take care of it. |

I've had that problem too and not just with the Ferrari either. Yes, the pipe to the tank makes a sharp 90° bend just below the cap, which makes me crank the nozzle over to get a straighter flow. I don't have a trap door in the filler, so it's not that that causing the problem, just the design of the pipe. |

If you have the unleaded trap door block in the fill spout, you might try to remove it. Backpressure from this can cause the pump to shut off. |

The nosle at almost every gas station I go to shuts off every few seconds when I fill up. It might be related to the angle you fill up the 328 (almost straight down) and the automatic shut off mechanism. Any ideas or advice? Thanks. |
