He put the wheels and carbon fiber spoiler on later. He had the stock wheels for the car sitting in his shop in a display case.

That f40 looks more like a race version than a street model. The wheels, rear wing and engine piping are indicators. A conversion for the street or the guy just wanted the look?

Love the Lambos but would rather have a silver one... the gold over brown(?) interior is a little too much for me.

Never in my life have I seen one in person, one day, maybe I can get a ride in one! :-)

Great pictures, thanks for sharing! That F40 is slick... I bet it sounded wonderful!

Peter...
LOL, I was waiting for you to say that, as we had discussed this a few months ago. My broker friend is the one who sold the car to him. Apparently, it was one of the only street legal ones to come into Canada, and the original owner had it in his living room!!! Anyhow, I can say with some degree of certainty that it is a registered, street legal car in Canada. I recall you saying that you have relatives in Calgary. Let me know the next time you are in town, I will take you to this guys shop and you can interogate him.

Tim...
He started up the F40 and then the Diablo and revved them quite high. In fact, I was surprised, as he didn't even let the F40 warm up very much before he started putting on a show.

P.S
I am sure that those 2 kids are the younger brothers of that girl, who looks like she is 15.

Tim, I wouldn't say its typical of Canadians, I'm sure Bruce made that comment because regardless of her "status" and her kids, she is a good-looking woman with a healthly-sized chest.

I'm game for that...

P.S. I still don't believe that F40 is legal...

Jailbait with 2 kids? how can someone let that happen?! Bruce, why in hell would you want to move there if thats typical of these Canadians?!

Anyway, those are some great pics. I really want one of the gold diablo for my desktop. Did they start up that F40? It's probably loud as hell with those what looks like straight pipes.

James, I've never heard of a legal F40 in Canada yet. I thought everyone was waiting for the 15 years before they would allow them on the road. No matter how many times I see an F40 I've got to say It's the best car ever! :-)

Fouad,

The name of the shop is ZR Auto Sales.
The guy who owns it goes to the same church as me, I just haven't had an opportunity to really meet him yet.

That Diablo was more of a light gold color. I think the lighting made it look like it was darker than it actually was.

Ron....
You have a good eye. That was a 1997 993 twinner with Fiske wheels and a rollcage. The white Jalpa was also there, along with a bunch of 308/328 cars, some 355's and a nice yellow 512TR. One of the coolest parts of the show was a large display of Minis. They had some with 351 Ford motors, 1.6 Vtec motors with NOS. It was pretty cool.

Bruce.....
That girl is JAILBAIT!!!!!!!!!!

Ryan.....
I don't think that shop is to make money, its just there to showoff his cars.

P.S
Many of those photos are high res pics but I had to modify them to fit for this site, so if anybody wants them in 1124x768, I email them to you.

James - Great photos, you described the show as it was, fantastic. Although I cannot forsee that place lasting long with those prices in a place like Forest Lawn... Great to see something like that in Cowtown, though. I'll try to post my pics as well.

It looked like a great day for a show.. I see a F355, Porsche turbo, NSX, and the nose of what appears to be a white lambo Jalpa. What other cars were there?????

Good looking cars! I love that carbon fiber wing on the F40. I've never seen a bronze/brown 6.0, I wouldn't have thought they come in that combo.

Here are a couple of the pictures from the grand opening of a car shop that was put on in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Obviously, the main star of the show was the F40, which is registered and liscened to be driven on the street. I am pretty sure it's the only street legal F40 in Canada. The two lambos on either side of the F40 are all the same owner.

He started up the F40 and revved the motor for the crowd. It was quite a scene.
