Sounds like a plan Jack....Hows the 328 treating you I hope you have been enjoying it as much as I have my 348. I already have 1500 miles on it after only a month after getting it back from the 30k. Bob I am hoping I can make it to my schedule looks good and open so my plan is drive to my parent house in Dubuque Iowa on Friday, up to your pad on Saturday, then back to Rochester on Sunday. Ahhh a nice 1000 mile trip in the 348 what could be better!! | ||

Hubert - I got my seats from Carm on this board actually but you can find them at http://www.autosupermart.com/ That is where I had to go to get my seatbelts and other various mounting hardware for the 348. Jack - Thanks my man I am glad to hear from you. I am going to try and make it down for Bobs get together on July 13th but we shall see depending on what else goes on with work and the car. | ||

Martin, I am 6'4" as well and let me tell you the OMPs make a world of difference as far as leg room and being comfortable in the car. I was squeezed into her before because of the bolsters on the seats being so large, and the seats being overly padded in general. Once I put the OMPs in it was like a new car. I feel that I can drive it much better now because I can truly use my feet effectivly instead of fumbling around. I love them and if your as big as I am I think you would love them too! | ||

John, you are a pretty tall guy, how tall? How do the OMPs work out? More room? @ 6'4 life in a Ferrari is always a Challenge (maybe this is why my 348 says Challenge in the back?) | ||

Thanks Bob - I forwarded your sons resume to HR and someone is looking at it I have been working such hectic hours I havent had a chance to check in on it. I hope life with the 308 in Chicago is treating you and your family good! Bruce - dont worry man I only have a chrome outline around my Non-customer plates! :0) Rob - Keep on truckin man I love this site and think the world of you for taking time out of your busy schedule to provide us with such an awesome site! I know how hellacious the software world can be and the time you put in here is more than appreciated on my side of the world. Keep on rocking my man. PS. I hopefully will be posting some pictures soon of the Ferrari get together we had in the Twin Cities two weekends ago. Lots of cars were there and the speed limit was obliterate many times!! Be on the look out...if only the guy with the digital camera would send the pics to me!!! | ||

Just wanted to fire up a couple of pictures (no snow around it this time) to all you loyal Ferrarichatters out there and show you that my car is back in business with Carm's OMP seats installed, fresh 30K, new rear rim, and brand new clutch. I have been terrorizing Minnesota roads over the past few weeks and have loved every minute of it!! I also want to say that despite all the negative stuff I have seen on this board about Ferrari chat dying and all that other crap I still love this site and visit it daily. Thanks for all the help you all have given me over the year I have been lurking here, and also thanks to all of you that I have met and talked with personally off-line. You are what make Ferrarichat a great community. I have also attached a picture of myself and co-worker in the car so you can see my ugly mug first hand! :0)   |
