It must be well guarded since no one has stolen (or sanded) the badges off of it yet.

$180K may be expensive, but for the ultimate pine wood derby car it could be worth it.

$180K they have got to be out of their minds. No thanks, for that much cash give me the real thing, not some over grown cub scout pine box racer.

Bret- It obviously runs on water...but I'm afraid the gearshift will sprout leaves and become an oak tree. :-)

Beautiful work of art!

Hi everyone!
Just wanted to let you know that I did indeed take those pictures at The Venetian in Las Vegas this past weekend. (It's in the back near the better restaraunts like Delomonicos, Valentinos, etc.).
In my opinion, it is not as impressive in person as in the photos. *shrug* Nice to see the pictures getting around though. :-)

Enjoy.

Todd - correct. I have seen this thing. Its impressive that its wood, but its a VERY LARGE bubbly rendition of the F50. It isn't that pretty upclose. But that's just my take.

My friend sent me an email today with these pictures. Not sure when they were taken or if you have seen them before but I thought some of you may enjoy them.

Quite fascinating!!
