Stephen,

Still working out my weekend plans/schedule. If I show up, look for a pony tailed guy wearing a sand colored FerrariChat shirt (let's hope I can remember to wear the right shirt!). Look forward to meeting you...

Stephen:

If my 355 30k is done, I'll probably go there. If not, then probably not.

Art/Ben,
You fellows going to make it out to Patrick Otis's Tech Day next Saturday? I'm planning on going to meet some of the local chapter members and to see Patrick again. Hope to see you there.

Steven:

There is a very active FCA region here. The next event is the Karts at Treasure Island on July 14th. The week after that, Ben is doing a drive. Both events are well worth it. Drop me an email and I'll give you the appropriate phone numbers.

Thanks for the compliment Noel! Yes ALL Ferrari and other exotic car owners are welcome to join us, we have no newsletter, board of directors, meetings, etc. just 4-5 times a year we get out and have some FUN with the cars, make some new friends (Familia), and share our passion for exotic cars with others. More details on the website that Noel has posted the msg below.

Just so you know Stephen, there is a very active FCA region here in the Bay Area, ~650 members strong - they are a great bunch of guys (and gals), some of them are members of F'Chat as well. They can be found on the internet here:

http://www.ferraripacific.org/

The FOC also has a good number of members here as well, and are working to organize a region here as most of the CA members are from the South.

Hope that helps, and look forward to meeting you some day soon.

Stephen,

I cant comment on the car clubs but before anything, subscribe to Forza. It's one great magazine. And sign up to http://www.autozotica.com (it's a local car exotic group hosted by 2 awesome members of F-chat Larry & Ben).

I hope to see you in one of the runs.

I am new to the Ferrari community and was wondering which clubs the FChatters prefer. I value all of your comments, and it seemed to me that this group of enthusiasts are the type of members that I would enjoy belonging to. It seems that neither FCA or FOC has a local chapter in my area(SF Bay Area), so I wonder what benefits I could get beyond publications. Any comments on either clubs would be most appreciated.
