Thanks everyone. Bill, i always will remeber your words when you told me to find the right balance between fun and school work. Ed, i will never forget HS, ever. Football, wrestling, and most importantly my friends and family will always be remembered. J, I know i shouldnt be wreckless as i have many more years ahead of me and i dont want to do something stupid to change that.It does sound weird when i say im a HS grad. My friends from the town over dont graduate till monday, tonight i pointed that out alot tonight. To one of the them i said how does it feel to be in highschool still. She said good. I can fully understand why she said that, it was good. I can always count on you guys for pearls of wisdom. Rest assured that some of you have positively changed my life, but not because of what cars you have or anything like that. Its because you have been through it already and have advice to offer and at this stage i can take all the advice i can get! |

Tim I still feel like I'm a high school kid. It's been over 10 years! When people ask my age I still want to say 19. Don't be in a hurry to grow up, enjoy your youth but don't be too reckless! Congrats! |

You need to keep the High School memories close to you but keep focused on the future. Set goals and chart your progress. One thing I wish I had done was keep a Diary. It would have helped my memory of the past, if I could only remember where I put it. Congratulations. |

Tim: Still sounds better than matriculating from that other institution, not far upriver, in Ossining. I can still remember mine, some 30 years ago. It is one of the rites of passage, and, hopefully, not that important in the overall scheme of your life, as you grow older and wiser.(I still know guys from my time in high school who still live in the old hood, doing the same thing they were then). Your world will get a lot bigger. congrats. |

I chose the title for thread because yesterday evening i closed a chapter in my life and started a new one. Shortly after 7pm yesterday i ended my highschool career and became a highschool graduate. I am now an alumni of pleasantville high school. Just the sound of that is weird. I guess it will take some time to sink in. Now next year when i go to parties kids will be like, ohh the graduates have to come here. HS kids have something against graduates coming to parties, oh well. Anyway, im happy and sad to see HS end. |
