Russell: I understand that Ogner was bought out by someone else. Everything I heard about Ogner was bad, but I would not consider that too much, since they were bought out. I have not heard one way or the other about the new owners. If the car's in LA I might be able to go up and take a look (I live in San Diego, but am planning on going to LA in a week or so) and give you my thoughts, although based on your posts it seems like it's on its way already. Good luck. |

in my six months of remote searching, i found that when push came to shove, the authorized dealerships always came through with reasonable and complete flaw reports. they've got their own reps to think of, plus they contractually have to reflect well on FNA. i bought my 355 sight-unseen from an authorized dealer and it was as-represented excepting one unimportant item that they offered to fix. i wish i could say the same about some of the other folks i dealt with. doody. |

Russel, I bought my 2000 360 sight-unseen as well from Ferrari of Seattle. I requested them to describe all the paint chips (5 of them) and requested the right to refuse delivery if there was any mispresentation. The car was exactly as described. ACW

Yea, it is a (high risk) sight unseen deal. I made them put in writing, no scratches, no new paint, no evidence of body damge, showroom new condition etc . . . It is a 2000 Modena with 1200 miles (19 months on warranty). I almost flew out, but being in Maryland it would be quite a hike, and I just finished 2 longish trips. Part of me feels like I must be insane to buy a car like this sight unseen. When you flew out to see the car was it about what you expected? My wife tied me up on color so I was a bit limited in where I could find the car. I figured I might pay a bit more from an autherized dealer but at least I would have some recourse with FNA if they, well, screwed me. I will keep all posted. I certainly hope to have great things to say about them. |

Russ, I bought my used 328 from Ogner. They were reasonably fair. Is this a sight-unseen deal or have you viewed the car? I negotiated the price ahead of time based on their description of the condition of the car. Then flew out to look at it and later had it shipped back to Dallas. Just remember that what you consider to be in excellent condition may differ from theirs... it's all relative. Hope it works out! Good luck! Bob |

I just ordered a car from them. They are near LA, and where listed as an FNA autherized dealer. Now from reading the forum I wonder just what that means. I get the car in 5 days. it is supposed to be in perfect condition. Has anybody dealt with them? |
