Jeffrey, agree a few laps, primarilly at the beginning, were extremely good but the majority of the race IMO was as dull as most other F1 races. They are unsuprisingly losing a vast viewing audience, particularly in the UK and are desperately trying to think of ways to pep it up.

The main view I read is that its felt to be too safe and cossetted, not sure how I feel about that view but whatever happens they do need to do something that allows more competitive passing maneouvres. Many races have almost no competitive passing other than in the pits!

Thankfully I get Cart on Eurosport which seems far more exciting to me, even on the ovals

I can't remember two team mates getting along so well - I guess winning helps. A lot of people say rubens is crazy to accept a number two role but I think it makes it easier - no one is ever uncertain who is number one - look at coulthard and hakkinen. Furthermore wouldn't you rather be a number two in the best team than a number one in a third or fourth best team? Anybody seen Eddie Irvine lately????

Sorry, didn't think about that. Watch the race, it is one of the best yet this year.

Was looking forward to a good evening viewing of the Grand Prix on my Tivo and decided to check emails and list first. Stumbled on the thread and it kind of spoiled the fun. Can you guys do what all other emails/Forums do and put "Spoiler" in the thread title ?

It was embarrassing for the other teams, everyone almost a minute or more behind!
