Looks like a great trip. Since your personal 348 is listed on your site, I think you've already made the decision to keep the new Spider (whether you know it or not)!!!

Just returned yesterday from the LA trip. We picked up the 348 Spider on Wednesday in LA and took the car for 600 Miles in total all around and through LA.

Thursday: through the Angel Crest Highway, a 100 miles stretch of mountain roads going from 0 elevation to 7000+ and down and up again and down and up again. We also spend the early part of the day in Barstow a desert city 120 Miles outside of LA for some other business. The car make a desert look good:-)

Friday:
Spend the day driving through the Canyons north of LA and ended up on Rodeo Drive. Possibly getting the best parking spot one can wish for. Look at that picture!

Satruday:
we wanted to go south of Ortega Hwy but due to traffic ended up only taking a ride through Santa Monica, venice and Marina Del Ray and then to the hotel to relax. In the last afternoon Marion and I met up with Tino (MENSI, one of the F-Chat sponsors)and his better half for dinner. Tino was kind to offer his warehouse for storage until the truck comes and picks the car up this week. Thanks again Tino! I hope to be able to return this favor one day!

This trip had been one of the best I have done in a while. Great roads and meeting great people. We had a blast and came home smiling all the way.

I think I want to keep the Spider.
